Our Banking and Finance Practice advises on all aspects of Swiss financial market regulations, capital markets, lending and structuring. We represent clients in filings with Swiss and foreign authorities and agencies in relation to Swiss financial market regulations.
The firm advises domestic and foreign financial services and banking groups, banks and financial institutions, financial advisors and intermediaries on regulatory matters, assisting them with their creation, such as new banking and securities dealer licenses and the opening in Switzerland of subsidiaries, branches and representative offices of foreign banking groups, banks or other regulated entities.
We act on a regular basis as lead advisors in financial services activities and banks’ acquisitions and divestitures, and banks’ mergers, in Switzerland and abroad, and have acquired a position as a market leader in this field.
We have also often been called upon to advise financial services and banking clients in the setting up and organization of compliance and risk management departments, including money laundering compliance procedure and regulations, FATCA and CRS.
We also advise Swiss and foreign collective investment funds, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital funds, carry out their setting up and registration and assist them to file for their commercialization in Switzerland.
